Oh Mr Lova Lova !

Malam semalam, serius rajin datang.

Dah 2 hari beli buah berry berry tu untuk buat pavlova. Teringin beb. Semua orang pakat citer.. kita duk telan ayaq lioq ja. Mana buleh jadik gini. G Tesco ada laa buah buah berry ni semua. Blueberry ada, strawberry ada, raspberry ada… tp gua cuma beli rasp & straw jer.

Takyah la nak citer pasal asal usul lova lova ni eh. Bukan masuk peksa pun nanti. Buat nyemak otak jer. Mana nak pikir barang dapur nak beli, mana nak pikir keje kat opis, susu anak.. tup tup kena pikir asal usul pavlova plak. Huhu..

Resipi dah gua salin berhari2 jugak. Berkobar kobar nak buat ni. Hahahaha.. takuit tak jadik weh. Gua kalau masak tak jadik, 4-5 hari mogok takmo masuk dapur. Kecewa dia lain macam sket ah. Berbekalkan bahan2 yang sedia ada dalam gobok buruk kat dapur tu.. petang tu lepas asar.. berhempas pulas gua duk memixerkan bahan2.  Mujur la cik kacang tu duk diam layan diri sendiri jer depan tv. Apa lagi kalau bukan Mickey Mouse Clubhouse tu la. Dah abes, pasang lagi.. tp memang bagus lah. Diam diam, Hazel dah pandai kira one sampai six on her own. Pandai juga A sampai D. Kira ok kut dengan age dia tu eh. Dah laa suka nyanyi bila dalam kete… bapak dia kata, Hazel koya artis. Hahaha.. kesian Hazel tau!

Sambung ke mr lova lova ni. Resipi gua amek dari site joyofbaking tp sebab korang semua malas nak search kan? Hehe, kakak korang ni rajin copy paste special utk korang. Cakap ‘terima kasih kakak’ cepat!!!

Pavlova Recipe:

4 large (120 grams) egg whites

1 cup (200 grams) superfine (castor) sugar

1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 teaspoon white vinegar

1/2 tablespoon cornstarch (corn flour)

Topping:

1 cup (240 ml) heavy whipping cream

1 1/2 tablespoons (20 grams) granulated white sugar (or to taste)

1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

 Fresh fruit – kiwi, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, passion fruit, peaches, pineapple, or other fruit of your choice

Itu bahan2. Cara2 buat pulak… gua copy paste sebab tak rajin :p

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (130 degrees C) and place rack in center of oven. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and draw a 7 inch (18 cm) circle on the paper. Turn the parchment paper over so the circle is on the reverse side. (oleh sebab koliah kata baking sheet gua tu adalah kertas dah rosak dan dia buang semua.. makan gua ganti dengan kertas minyak. boleh juga tauuu)

In the bowl of your electric mixer, with the whisk attachment, beat the egg whites on medium speed until they hold soft peaks. Start adding the sugar, a tablespoon at a time, and continue to beat, on high speed, until the meringue holds very stiff and shiny peaks. (Test to see if the sugar is fully dissolved by rubbing a little of the meringue between your thumb and index finger. The meringue should feel smooth, not gritty. If it feels gritty the sugar has not fully dissolved so keep beating until it feels smooth between your fingers). Beat in the vanilla extract. Sprinkle the vinegar and cornstarch over the top of the meringue and, with a rubber spatula, gently fold in. Spread the meringue inside the circle drawn on the parchment paper, smoothing the edges, making sure the edges of the meringue are slightly higher than the center. (You want a slight well in the center of the meringue to place the whipped cream and fruit.)

Bake for 60 to75 minutes or until the outside is dry and is a very pale cream color. Turn the oven off, leave the door slightly ajar, and let the meringue cool completely in the oven. (The outside of the meringue will feel firm to the touch, if gently pressed, but as it cools you will get a little cracking and you will see that the inside is soft and marshmallowy.)

The cooled meringue can be made and stored in a cool dry place, in an airtight container, for a few days.

Just before serving gently place the meringue onto a serving plate. Whip the cream in your electric mixer, with the whisk attachment, until soft peaks form. Sweeten with the sugar and vanilla and then mound the softly whipped cream into the center of the meringue. Arrange the fruit randomly, or in a decorative pattern, on top of the cream. Serve immediately as this dessert does not hold for more than a few hours.

Senang kan? Memang gua ikut sebijik sebijan tapi takde plak gua simpan berhari2. Sejuk jer… terus gua pukul krim tu… terus gua potong semua buah yang terbabit.. terus gua layan bersama anak dan suami. Hahahahaha.. memang gua rakus orangnya!

Sebesar alam gamba pavlova gua letak. Hahahah.. tapi memang sedaplah. Cewah, bukan gua cakap ni. Laki gua yang cakap. Hazel pun duk ulang sebut… mmm dappp. Haaa.. so, korang boleh try la resipi yang akak kasik tadi tu okkeh?

P/S : Jgn lupa sebut Bismillah masa nak start buat tu. Sambil jampi “mesti jadik, mesti jadik”.

  • [...] Oh, this time gua kurangkan gula sket masa buat pavlova tu. Gua buang 20gm jer tp impak dia mmg banyak. Tak muak manis tu. Plus buah strawberi n kiwi ni saja dah cukup. Memang this time puas hati gua layan. Sehari semalam, licin. Bapak Hazel yg tak suka makan manis manis tu pun, ntah masa bila dia makan… bukak peti tinggal cenonet je pavlova tu. Yey! Nak sedap lagi, gua buh 1 tsp terus vanilla essence tu instead 1/2 tsp. Baru sedap … rasa telur pun mmg hilang terus. Bakar 130 deg. C selama 80 minit. Oven gua kecik je… so kalau bukak panas sangat cepat hangit. Kalau kejap sgt, takut tak masak dalam. Pepandai laa korang eh. Resipi dia boleh amek kat sini Resipi Pavlova. [...]

      Tak jadik macam mana eh ?
      Oven akak yg kecik tu jer.. hihihih..
      Oven kecik ni selalu kita kena tgk
      Sebab salah setting, cepat rentung or tak masak..
      Suhu dlm 130′c, bakar dlm 80 minit

    maaf akak lmbt bls. bil broadband saya dipotong.huk3.baru dpat baca komen akak..tq blas pertanyaan saya ye kak. suka sangat dpt blsan. oven sy pun kecik gak kak..tp akak punya pavlova nampak keras kat luar dan merekah, saya punya tak keras pun kak. kalau sentuh melekat pd tngan. lepas tu tak merekah pun..haish

    • Try bakar 130′c untuk 80 – 85 min
      Bila dah kuning tu n dah bunyi oven, jgn keluarkan terus..
      Bukak pintu oven n biarkan sekejap..
      Pastu baru keluarkan.. nanti try eh..
